My Story

"My journey has never been just about becoming stronger. It has been about using that strength to help others. I believe that when we improve our own health and wellbeing, we become better equipped to improve the lives of those around us and the community."

My passion for health and fitness began at the age of 20. Back then, I weighed just 50 kg (110 lbs) and was determined to build strength, confidence, and a healthier future. What started as a personal goal became a lifelong journey spanning more than 44 years of continuous learning, training, and experience.

Like many people, my journey wasn't without setbacks. A few years ago, I was suddenly affected by a serious disability that left me struggling to stand, walk, and carry out everyday tasks. The pain and loss of mobility were life-changing, but I refused to accept that this would define my future.

Through determination, careful nutrition, rehabilitation, and eventually returning to regular gym training in Malta, I gradually rebuilt my strength. Today, at 64 years of age, I continue to train consistently and enjoy a level of health and mobility that once seemed impossible. Perhaps the greatest achievement is not the weight I lift, but that after decades of training, I discovered a more balanced approach that has allowed me to train for over a year without a single injury—something I had never achieved before.

Over four decades I've learned that lasting health isn't created by extreme diets or quick-fix fitness programmes. It comes from consistency, sustainable habits, and enjoying the journey. That's the experience I now want to share with others.

By supporting the Honey Badger Charity Youth Club & Community Hub and the annual Honey Badger Legacy Festival, you're not simply contributing to a community project. You're helping create opportunities for young people while receiving practical guidance from someone who has spent a lifetime learning what truly works.

If my experience can help improve your health while helping build a brighter future for our community, then together we can create something that benefits us all.

Health is one of the few gifts we can improve at any age. By strengthening ourselves, we become better equipped to strengthen our families, our communities we call home, and the future we leave behind."
