About Us: Honey Badger Charity Youth Club, No Guilt Cafe, and 24 hr 24/7 coffee shop are passionate about creating impactful community initiatives. We are organizing the Honey Badger Legacy Gala to support our cause, with live entertainment and engaging activities for donors.

Job Description: We seek a dynamic freelance Marketing Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing strategies, event promotion, and social media engagement. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for promoting our upcoming Honey Badger Legacy Gala event. Cold-calling 

​Companies to solicit charity donations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute marketing strategies for the telethon.

• Create and manage social media campaigns to increase event visibility.

• Collaborate with influencers, media, and community partners.

• Oversee the production of promotional materials.

• Track and analyze marketing performance metrics.

• Coordinate with the event planning team to ensure cohesive promotion.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in freelance marketing and event promotion.

• Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and social media platforms.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• You will receive for contributions a 7% commission on any sales generated for the telethon event. After the opening date, we can agree together on a salary plus a small commission and come on board in-house.

Behind every great event is a great team. The Honey Badger Legacy Gala is Malta's first Annual Legacy Festival — an international charity boxing event at the centre of a growing cultural phenomenon, and we are looking for driven individuals to help build it from the ground up.

Event Description: Imagine a full international boxing fight card, VR combat sports where competitors physically compete using cutting-edge virtual reality equipment, esports tournaments, live student performances — dance, acrobatics, music — showcasing Malta's best young talent, alongside food courts and stalls from local restaurants bringing the flavour of the island into one arena. This is not just an event — it is a first-of-its-kind community festival built to establish a permanent Youth Club and Community Hub in St Paul's Bay, Malta. We are looking for a passionate, creative marketing professional to help us take this vision to the world.

Promotion Strategy:​

1. Social Media Campaign:

   • Platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn

   • Content: Countdown posts, behind-the-scenes previews, performer spotlights, donation links

   • Engagement: Interactive posts, live Q&A sessions, and sharing personal stories from beneficiaries

2. Email Marketing:

   • Target Audience: Existing donors, community members, local businesses

   • Content: Event details, schedule, how to participate, donation options

   • Call to Action: Encourage recipients to share the event with their networks

3. Press Releases:

   • Target Media Outlets: Local newspapers, radio stations, TV channels

   • Content: Event announcement, significance of the cause, key attractions, and guests

4. Collaborations:

   • Partners: Local influencers, community organizations, businesses

   • Activities: Joint social media posts, co-hosted segments during the telethon, sponsored giveaways

5. Website Updates:

   • Content: Event schedule, performer bios, donation options, live stream link

6. Flyers and Posters:

   • Distribution: Local cafes, community centers, schools, libraries
